Original Kurzfassung:
The Joyful School Project is dedicated to transforming primary and lower-secondary education by prioritizing the well-being of both students and teachers. Our central aim is to equip educators with innovative pedagogical methods and tools that not only enhance academic achievement but also promote emotional and social well-being in the classroom. Our project aims to develop a comprehensive well-being competence framework tailored to primary and lower-secondary teachers. This framework will serve as a guiding light, empowering educators to plan, organize, and apply these methods effectively while fostering their well-being. In addition to developing this framework, we are committed to sharing our findings and insights with the wider educational community. Through our website, social media platforms, and a series of "Joyful School Fairs," we aim to raise awareness about the importance of prioritizing well-being in educational settings. Furthermore, our project will yield tangible outcomes, including recommendations for curriculum development in four countries (Luxembourg, Finland, Romania and Austria) and the creation of accessible training resources such as MOOCs and workshops. These resources will provide educators with practical tools and strategies to integrate well-being principles into their teaching practices. The Joyful School Project represents a collaborative effort to create joyful learning environments where students can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. By focusing on concrete outcomes and providing accessible resources, we aim to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the field of education.
