Original Kurzfassung:
Samples of La0.67Ca0.33(FexMn1-x)O3 with x = 0.01, 0.03, 0.06, 0.1 and 0.15 and of (La0.67-xYxCa0.33)MnO3 with x = 0.0 and 0.07 were prepared by calcination and sintering of stoichiometric amounts of La, Y and Fe oxides as well as Mn and Ca carbonate. The specimen of La0.67Ca0.33(FexMn1-x)O3 were phase pure with respect to XRD. Increasing iron contents increased the resistivity of the specimen. Resistance versus temperature curves were obtained in self-field.
The magneto-resistance and specific heats as a function of the temperature and of the magnetic field of the manganese perovskites La0.67-xYxCa0.33MnO3 with x = 0.0 and 0.07 have been measured within the temperature interval from 80 K to 300 K. The pronounced maximum of the magneto-resistance with its maximum value as high as about 30 % and specific heat jump have been observed at 250 K and 150 K for x = 0 and x = 0.07, respectively, as a result of phase transition from metallic-ferromagnetic to insulating-paramagnetic state with increasing temperature.
