In the crystal structure of the title compound, [{(C6H5)3As}4Cu][PF6], the copper atoms are coordinated by four arsenic atoms of triphenylarsine ligands within a tetrahedron. The complex cations are disposed about
crystallographic threefold axes with the metal ion lying on a special position of site symmetry 3. Therefore, one of the arsine ligands is crystallographically inequivalent to the other three. The Cu-As bond of the independent arsine ligand is shorter than the Cu-As bonds of the three
symmetry-related arsine ligands.
