High rise buildings are nice examples of complex systems. Damping of vibrations due to wind loads and earth quakes are essential problems. This Chapter presents novel contributions to modelling, control, and supervision of high-rise buildings. Control design is based on passivity, see Chapter 3. Design and testing are also discussed.
