The Industry Committee for Structural Analysis (IASB) is a committee, which develops fundamentals and methods for the analysis of aeronautical structures. The IASB was founded on 25th November 1968 and consists of members from aeronautical industries, research and academic institutions, and civil and military authorities. The IASB documents methods and procedures in the HSB (Handbook Structure Analysis, Handbuch Struktur-Berechnung). The content of the HSB is organized into the chapters 00000 Definitions, 10000: Materials, 20000: Joints, 30000: Static Analyses, 40000: Static Stability, 50000: Static Strength, 60000: Fatigue and Damage Tolerance, 70000: Vibrations. The content of the HSB is updated continuously. The HSB is not for sale and is intended only for the use of selected recipients. Recipients are identified by the issuing committee IASB.
