Without a narrow functional context, non-functional requirements can only be treated uniformly across the feature set of an application - thus neglecting the heterogeneity of these requirements from the different stakeholders and how they mutually influence each other. As a result, non-functional requirements are often vaguely specified or unbalanced with functional requirements. We present a task analytic approach for eliciting and modeling stakeholder interests and their refinement into quantifiable constraints. This refinement provides DevOps teams with operative hints how the respective constraints can be satisfied sufficiently. Finally we outline the results of a preliminary interview study with domain experts which reveals the applicability of our task modeling and interest tailoring approach.
