Original Kurzfassung:
From early on, modern European sciences have been obsessed with elaborating categories of differentiation, discrimination and hierarchization, especially regarding sex, gender, sexuality, class and race. Although already challenged by feminist, decolonial and queer studies, these categories have been persisting in their functionality. What seems to be needed, is a model for understanding complex entanglements of humans and a tool to dissolve and undo these old oppressive categories and dismantle the concepts which hold them in place. The paper asks how historical epistemology and feminist decolonial epistemology can contribute to change this. Chela Sandoval?s account on the ?Methodology of the Oppressed? is presented, as a way of thinking transformation beyond identity politics, to counteract oppression with the potential to align beyond identifying in sameness.
